Mary gathers her friends for tea and cherry cake. Lucy decides to create a suitable look for the "cherry" tea party and makes a brooch shaped like cherries. Very soon though the piece of jewellery disappears, and Lucy gets so upset she doesn't want to pay Mary visit anymore. Detective Chirp undertakes to help her in this situation and find the precious cherries.
