Roger is sick and tired of having no authority over the animals as they go about doing whatever they want. Fatou explains to him that that he’s too nice to be an authoritarian and he should stay just the way he is, everyone loves him like that. But Roger wants things to change, he begs Fatou to give him some pointers on how to “appear” to be strict. Alas the task is quite impossible. Roger neither has the voice nor the piercing gaze, nor anything about him that would inspire fear and respect. What’s he going to do?? Suddenly our fave alien has a brilliant idea: he invents a wig with mustache and obedience force field that will make the most stubborn islander bow to his will. And so by the following day, Roger has become a boss, a real chieftain. Except that the slavish and obedient behavior of all the animals, Fatou included, finally begins to bore him stiff. Being boss is a lonely job...
