Because Junior complains that Fatou is always late, the little girl asks Roger to build her an infallible alarm clock. Unfortunately, despite Roger’s warnings, she opens it up. And an atomic shock wave wafts out of the alarm clock and surrounds the entire island, provoking a very bizarre temporal malfunction for each of the island’s inhabitants. Each animal is prisoner of a time warp and repeats over and over the same action. The unexpected consequence of Fatou’s screw-up is that the entire island is now threatened with sinking into the ocean! Fatou and Roger just barely manage to repair the alarm clock in time and save the island. Whew...that was close!
