In a fantasy world, the girl and her dog become explorers setting traps for the Mud Monster Prince. He uses a bushy hideout to snatch the berries, but the Princess and Bona unveil his disguise and wash away the mud. The Prince is initially indignant, but then he delights in his clean appearance and enjoys the berries with his sister and dog.
