Today at school the group of friends decides to go on a bicycle outing to the park on Sunday. But Howie Hippo doesn’t want to join them. There’s a problem, and it is that Howie has a secret he’s never shared with anyone: he doesn’t know how to ride a bike. The first one to find that out is Misha, who tries to figure out a way so he can join in the outing. Little by little, to Howie’s great embarrassment, his friends find out his secret. They all try to help him learn to ride (each with their own odd and very different techniques). Finally Howie gives up. He hasn’t learned how to ride a bike. But his friends won’t let him miss the event. On Sunday they show up at his house with...Surpise! A tandem bike so they can all go on the outing.
